Mike is a junior studying Finance and Statistics in Wharton and Anthropology in the College. Outside of WPBA, he conducts research with the Wharton Risk Center. In his free time, Mike snowboards, explores the restaurants of Philadelphia, and spends time in museums. He is originally from Pleasanton, CA.

Cortney Charleston

Cortney is a senior concentrating in Business & Public Policy in the Wharton School and studying Urban Studies in the College. Originally from Chicagoland, Cortney has always had a fascination with politics and the policy-making process, particularly within urban environments. In addition to WPBA, Cortney serves with the Student Committee on Undergraduate Education, Penn Democrats, and Penn Pals. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, listening to Hip-Hop and R&B, and having philosophical discussions with friends.

Freda Zhuo

Freda is a senior at the Wharton School pursuing concentrations in Finance and Global Analysis as well as a minor in Psychology. Her other activities include working at the Fels Institute of Government as a research assistant and several other Wharton organizations. She also plays the flute with the Penn Baroque Ensembles. In her free time, Freda enjoys exploring Philadelphia, listening to music (anything British is good), and getting friends hooked on little-known TV shows.

David is a sophomore in Wharton with an undecided concentration. Outside of WPBA, he is also involved with the Chinese Students’ Association and the Penn Political Review. He is also a fan of exploring big cities, playing guitar, and putting lots of ketchup on things. He is looking forward to helping WPBA accomplish big things this upcoming year!

Charles is a sophomore in the Wharton School looking to pursue concentrations in both Management and Business and Public Policy.  He joined WPBA because of his interest in the intersection of business and government.  Aside from WPBA, Charles is active in Penn for Youth Debate as well as the Wharton Program for Social Impact.

Yamini is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Economics and Political Science and minoring in Math. At Penn, she is also involved with student government, the American Red Cross, and environmental consulting for West Philadelphia businesses. In her free time, Yamini likes traveling, writing, and spending time with friends.

Matt is from Long Island, New York. He is a sophomore in the College and Wharton pursuing degrees in Finance and Political Science. Outside of WPBA, he is Internal Vice President of the Beta Pi chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha and a Financial Analyst for the Wharton Finance Club. In his free time, Matt likes to play baseball and tennis and go boating on the Long Island Sound, and is currently learning how to play acoustic guitar.

Samuel Lee, from Snellville, GA, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. He is a University Scholar, and is also involved in KSA and Roosevelt@Penn. In his free time, he likes to work out, read, and listen to music.
